Cali.

I love going back to Cali. Much needed vacation. Spent thursday night in Hollywood, Saturday night @ Cypress Hill Concert. Travis Barker played. Alex takes good care of me everywhere we go it's always by limo. The food here is epic. Stoked to go watch Jackass 3D. Not so stoked that movie tickets in LA are 20$. Went to 2 of LMU's Volleyball games and got rowdy. Met a cute girl thursday night, smart Philosophy grad. Haven't enjoyed a conversation that much in a long time. I've been getting some orders for skate shops so i'm happy. need to seriously focus on some homework when i get home and i'll definately need to work off all this food i've been eating out here. Catching up to me.

So school and everything else is starting to catch up to me. I've procrastinated a little too much. Since that last post I skipped class Wednesday to go to a concert, and haven't done ANY homework. I went rock climbing and ripped up my hands. I really just taking it slow is something I can do. I woke up super early this morning to get as much of my homework done as possible before my family gets in from out of town. I've also been putting in hours again with my company. I hired an old friend to do some promotion and find skaters to sponsor. His drive and excitement was a little contagious and I'm back to trying to push the company in the right direction. One of the Skaters that he found is skating our grip today at the Dew Tour and I'm pretty sure we are going to pick him up for a full Sponsorship. Other than all that, everything else is pretty much the same. Oh, and Nemo is now over 2 feet long but still pretty skinny. He eats a ton tho! Here are some pics. One is a pic of BeardO. Good morning

Woke up and went boating. weather was nice. Kinda worried it's going to get cold soon. I'm thinking I should go a week without doing some sort of impact sport. most of my body is scratched, cut, or bruised from everything and I think my body is going to just quit repairing itself. I think I'll take this time to get ahead in school. This has been the longest time I've spent in Utah in about 3 years, therefore, a vacation is in order. Halloween in Santa Monica? yes I think so. School is way easier than I remember. I still have to put the effort in, but I actually enjoy it. And staying home and not traveling has made it a ton easier to pick up on new hobbies and start new ones. I got my membership to the Quarry back and I've been trying to get back to the skill I had a few years ago. Staying in the same place made it difficult to keep up on hobbies and working out, but has made it a ton easier quitting some habits and cutting back severely on others! Which the combination of new good habits and less bad habits has resulted positively on my lifestyle And my body! I benched over 200 lbs for the first time ever a couple weeks ago and I'm on track to hopefully be putting up 230 by winter!!
I'm getting better at dirt biking as well, I pulled my first no footer jump yesterday. Not working is great, but getting used to not having lots of money rolling in is a little hard, but i wasn't happy then, and I am now, so i say stay away money!

SUMMER

Little Nemo

So... I've had a lot of pets these past few years, but i've kept just one. Nemo is my favorite He's an Albino Tangerine Milk Snake. He's a great eater and has an awesome color! I just got some live plants for his house. here's some pictures.

Been a while.

It's been a while since I truly let go and enjoyed riding my longboard... but tonight was a rare night. I was originally supposed to spend it babysitting for my sister which I didn't mind. She happens to have 2 of the greatest kids ever, but she ended up staying home tonight.
I got a call from an old friend about carpooling up to a concert in SLC then possibly boarding a bit. We parked about 10 blocks away to avoid crowds from the concert. We were already late so we found ourselves speeding down SLC streets dodging traffic on our longboards just to catch the last few songs of the headlining band.
Afterwards we drove up to the top of the University of Utah as far up the mountain as we could go. My friend led us on a path that ended up being the longest i've ever ridden on a longboard. We road straight down to down town SLC . it was almost 1 by the time we finally stopped to turn around and head back uphill... which ended up taking a lot longer than i had expected. It ended up being a great night. (Other than the fact my toe was killing me from an earlier accident during volleyball)

2 weeks home

So I had 2 weeks off from the road. I felt the need to fly my cousin to utah from indiana. and the following pics and videos are a result of 3 days with Ryan in Utah. I've got lots of scrapes, bruises, cuts, I had to pull a couple bb's out of my skin, and a slight concussion. Needless to say, we had a blast.

Dallas

So this is my last week out with Val. She is prego and will be leaving the road for good. So I'm glad to be with her on her last week. Also, we randomly have a larger than normal group so that's making it pretty fun. Jason, Jeremy, and Spencer are also out here. The weather is borderline crazy. I can't believe people would willingly spend there lives in this climate. The work is the same. Last night we ventured out to my favorite place Buffalo Wild Wings. I've become a fan of the Honey BBQ Chicken Salad. Today we drove past the new Stadium... It's INSANE! It's crazy big and that screen is just begging me to play some Call of Duty! I'm off the next two weeks. I'm loving the time off. I get to take on the challenge of developing my own company while having tons of time to start new hobbies like dirt biking!

Time Off

Last week in Connecticut was decent.
This week I'm off and working hard on my company. It gets a little crazy spending all my time off working, but today i had a free day to play. Rode some dirtbikes and now i'm getting ready for a softball game... good day.

BUSY

San Francisco last week was great. The weather was perfect. I found time between meetings to go visit some wineries. I learned a ton about wine. A lot more goes into it than what I thought. The whole week was pretty relaxing considering the big company meeting I had coming up the following weekend. (Clever Grip merged with another company and I still own majority shares but the company is going to take off!!)
Rhode Island and Connecticut this week. Pulling double duty running in and out of the ballroom to take and make calls for Clever Grip. Things are going great. Clever Grip will have a booth at the Sports and Nutrition Expo at the South Towne Expo Center in Utah.
Buffalo Wild Wings tonight and early flight back to Utah in the morning. I think I'll call in sick next week and work on business and find a dirt bike. I need a serious vacation!

Omaha

Omaha wasn't too fun. I did hit up a dog race track and placed a bet, just to say I did. Got a picture at the track, not flipping off the camera, I bet on dog #6. San Diego Next week.

Week Off

This hasn't been the most productive week off, but it has been eventful! Batting practice Saturday payed off when I started off the softball season batting 1,000! 3 singles and 1 double. It's been a few years since competing in any sports and I was pretty excited after my game. Saturday night was a somewhat successful attempt at camping. A group of us went up A.F. Canyon to go camping, and found that the snow hadn't melted yet, so we brought everything over to the B.O.B.'s house and camped in the front yard. Smores, roasted star bursts, a crazy amount of chocolate bars, blow up beds, and a ton of blankets.
I went rock climbing for the first time in a long time and I got WORKED.

Weekend and Vegas

Between Alabama and Vegas I had a pretty great weekend. I went longboarding a ton, took my motorcycle out (1986 Honda Shadow), I went to the Zoo, and watched a few movies.
Vegas was great. I had no excitement for the the trip to Vegas. My expectations were pretty low. Normally when the company sends me out there, I don't get large groups for our meetings, and our hotels suck. No Gyms, hard beds, stinky smoke, and loud obnoxious machines. But NOOOT this time!
The week started out with an upgraded hotel room... not just kinda upgraded, but J.W. Marriott 2,000 square foot hotel room. VERY NICE. Our groups were rather large and not too many "difficult" people. It turned out to be a great week. But I'm glad to be home and I look forward to a week off!

First week back out. Spencer, Beau, Jeremy and me all in Birmingham Alabama. Not the most exciting place. Actually, the most exciting thing we did was randomly find a Hank Williams Museum.

I was bored on the plane and started writing what I was thinking. I just copied it out of my iphone and sent it to myself and this is what it said:

Thank god and the delta CEO for still hiring beautiful flight attendants. The little looks every 10 minutes of the 3 hour flight makes my whole day.

The First One

Thanks to Nisha for helping get this thing set up. I'm going to start blogging about the places I travel... mostly for me. After 2 years of traveling, I don't have any log of the places I've eaten and people i've seen.
